Role description

The RFM will play a key role in advising and supporting the local top management. The RFM will develop, monitor and evaluate the local strategy with the local top managers and leaders of various business units.

 

The RFM will provide useful financial insights to help making better decisions about formulating and executing strategy and project success.

 
The RFM will interact effectively with other parts of the company; should be see as a trusted business advisor by all departments. Critical outcomes include supporting the executive team with key financial information and operational analytics, driving a culture of accountability in supporting the business and adding value to operating businesses. 

 

The main goals of the RFM are:

 

ü  Be the right hand of the local top management

 

ü  Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly Reporting through existing ERP systems

 

ü  Restructure Finance functions and modernize it in a way to become a business enabling function

 

ü  Handle into arising issues, and ideally solve it on a stand-alone basis without Executive involvement where possible

 

ü  Be part of project reviews of key projects and follow-up tasks

ü  It is expected that the candidate is interested in IT related finance, controlling and office systems and is willing to quickly learn and use new application systems.

 

To be successful in this role a clear, committed and professional communication style is key to develop a common and result oriented understanding between national and international departments

Interfaces

The RFM is working in a matrix type organization and therefore reports to different stake holders on a local, European or worldwide basis. The candidate will have to manage a mid-size team at the beginning and has to build up the local country finance organization in terms of profitability, finance administration and project controlling.
